Today I would like to give an helpful incite on mother daughter relationships. I have a teenage daughter that I love dearly. To me you have to have a open relationship with your child so that they can be comfortable coming to you with any problems that they may have. Don't get me wrong, you must still be stern and let them know what they can and cannot do.
Some parents try to be just a friend and forget about the discipline, trust me that does not work, and mothers please stop waiting til your child is 5yrs or older to try and start to discipline. Do it from early and you will have a better turn out. Bond with your child, talking about life issues and building that trust is the greatest thing. Sometimes as adults we have to sit back and remember when we were that age.
My purpose with this blog is to get feedback from Mothers and Daughters on what they think about this kind of relationship. I would really love to talk to the young teens out there girls or boys. I am the type of person that love to listen to the kids point of view also. Who knows we might be able to help each other out.
Every week I am going to post new topics to talk about, it would not only be about mother and daughters. It would be about whatever you would like to talk about. I am not an expert as in the sense of me going to college on this, but I can say I am an expert from the life experiences I been through. I been through a lot in my life and instead of being mad I've always wanted to turn it in to a positive and reach out and help anyone that I can.
